The short version
Twelve Ring does not collect your personal information. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the game has no servers of its own.
Your game data
Your career progress, equipment, local scores and settings are stored on your device. Twelve Ring does not sync these saves between devices through iCloud. Apple's device backups may include local game data, depending on your backup settings; device backup and restoration are separate from the game's features. We cannot see or recover your local saves. Clubs and tournaments with friends use iCloud separately, as described below.
Game Center
If you sign in to Game Center, Apple provides your player name, friends list (with your permission), leaderboards, achievements and challenges. That is Apple's service, covered by Apple's privacy policy. Twelve Ring uses your Game Center identity in the game only: to show your name and to know which club and tournament records are yours.
Clubs and tournaments with friends
When you create a club or a friends' tournament, its records (members, fixtures, scorecards and the arrows shot) are kept in your iCloud and shared only with the players you invite. When you join one, your scorecards are shared with that club's members. Leave a club and you stop sharing new records with it. We have no access to these records.
Purchases
Purchases, including the Full Tour, are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
Crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device's settings, Apple may pass us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. You can turn this off in Settings at any time.
Children
Twelve Ring is a sports game suitable for younger players. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Game Center features follow the parental controls in Screen Time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
